During his second annual Bowling Classic at Main Event Entertainment, Jaguars defensive end Calais Campbell announced a new way he plans to give back to the community. Campbell said during the off-season, and each month during the regular season, he will make a donation to different local charities. He called it a “season of giving.”
Results are in from the NFL players vote to identify the league player who best exemplifies outstanding character and leadership in the home, on the field and in the community. Calais Campbell of the Jacksonville Jaguars is the winner of the 2019 Athletes in Action/Bart Starr Award
Campbell, along with his CRC Foundation, hosted the first of hopefully many coding camps for kids ages 11 to 14 from the Boys and Girls Club of Northeast Florida.
Calais Campbell hosted teammates and fans in the inaugural Charles Richard Campbell Foundation Bowling Classic to raise money for the foundation named for the defensive end’s late father.
